Presentation Title: Overview of BLS food price data

Abstract: The price programs of the Bureau of Labor Statistics produce a wide array of data on food prices. This talk will provide an overview of the data from the import and export price program (MXPI), the Producer Price Index (PPI), and the Consumer Price Index (CPI). We will look at how to obtain data most easily, and go through actual data from each program, focusing on fruit prices as an example.
